OK, so if you check back to this blog occassionally you are probably wondering where all the new posts have been.  That’s a very good question!  With all the work on the website going on I am going to use that as an excuse.  Good or bad it’s time to get focused on this blog and use it like it should be used.  The plan is to not go more than a couple of days with a new post.  Who knows, by the end you may get sick of it!

As I write this I am also trying to plan out my fall.  It should be a busy one that’s for sure.  I am looking forward to starting the year off in Wyoming with Trophies Plus Outfitters.  I have met Mike Watkins the owner a few times and have seen several hunts on TV at his place.  Let’s just say I am pumped for this hunt.  The season starts September 1st and I look to be out there chasing velvet  bucks.  Back home in Wisconsin, I’ll be making the 3.5 hour drive up to my Buffalo County property as much as possible.  I have been getting a few pics of this 6×6 with 6 extra points hitting my XWT mineral.  He is a 4 year old deer that will become a movie star if he comes my way.  The good thing is every picture has been before dark.  I look forward to chasing this buck and every other that I can!  Good luck to each and everyone of you and be sure to keep us all updated on Whitetailworld!

That buck looks like he would be at the top of my list too! Good luck on the chase. Look forward to the blog that writes about the hunt you got him!
